Terms and Conditions between Candidates, Recruiters and Modern Business Solutions.


"MBS": means Modern Business Solutions, 15 James Street, Whickham, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE16 4AS.
"The Candidate": The person using this site for career related purposes.
"The Employer": The person using this site for recruitment purposes.
"Display Advertisement": A web page which usually contains up to a maximum of 2500 characters of text, graphics, data and files which are used to advertise a single vacancy, available to Candidates via online search and once per week via the Jobs-by-Email Service.

A. General disclaimer of liability for content products and services

A.1 MBS is providing this site on an 'as is' basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents and disclaims all such representations and warranties. In addition, MBS makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose of the information and related graphics published in this site. The information contained in this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. All liability of MBS howsoever arising for any such inaccuracies or errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
A.2 MBS offers non-tangible irrevocable products and does not issue refunds once an order is accomplished and the product is accessed or obtained. As a Customer you are responsible for understanding this upon purchasing any product from this site.
MBS does not bear any responsibility for and therefore does not satisfy any refund requests based on incompatibility of our products with third-party software (plug-ins, add-ons, modules, search engines, scripts, extensions etc) other than those which are specified. We do not guarantee that our products are compatible with any third-party programs and we do not provide support for third-party applications.
A.3 Neither MBS nor any of its officers, employees or other representatives will be liable for loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.
A.4 Notwithstanding the foregoing, none of the exclusions and limitations in the clause are intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer under local law or other statutory rights which may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit MBS’s liability to you for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our employees or agents.

B. Modern Business Solutions Promises

B.1 MBS will permit the Candidate and Employer to access, use and interact with our site subject to these terms and conditions.
B.2 MBS shall:
B2.1 exercise reasonable care in compiling our site
B2.2 take the steps set out in the privacy policy to endeavour to secure any personal data the Candidate provides.

C. Variations

C.1 MBS reserves the right at any time without notice to revise the content of the site (including the services offered by MBS) and these terms and conditions. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be posted on the site and by continuing to use the site following any such change the Candidate will signify that you agree to be bound by the revised terms and conditions of use.

D. The use of information

D.1 Information will be collected and recorded in accordance with our Data Protection Policy. The candidate acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms of our Data Protection Policy.
D.2 The Candidate is liable be contacted by the Employer without intervention from MBS.
D.3 Employers may only use information supplied by us for the purposes of recruiting and shall not disclose any information to any third parties other than those directly related to the recruitment process of the candidate.
D.4 Any party using this service for any purpose other than those specifically stated in these Terms and Conditions shall immediately be banned from using this site.

E. Discrimination Policy

E.1 MBS does not discriminate against anyone registered to or using the MBS website. We try to ensure that all possible measures are taken to prevent any vacancies advertised or searches do not discriminate against age, disabilities, gender or race. The search tools in place on the site do not have the functionality to exclude any candidates with disabilities. It is down to the users themselves to ensure they comply with discrimination laws.
